“This exhibition is inspired by one of the great museum experiments of the 1970s, The Rainbow Show in San Francisco (1975) MUDEC has taken over the principle of combining historical and contemporary, artistic and scientific material in an original project on the rainbow as a natural, cultural and spiritual phenomenon.
The rainbow is also represented by Cory Arcangel’s work, a site-specific installation in the museum’s agora, a large carpet with a multicoloured gradient generated by a digital algorithm.”
